    1. Unsuspectingly sweet.FYI, reading Meeting You is a must before starting Capturing You; especially when how these two met has such a big impact on the story. (At least I feel it does.)As a huge fan of Katana Collins’ Soul Stripper series, I am a bit taken aback by how sweet this read is. I am used to her action packed, sex infused epicness. So when I got a modern day romance, I had to shift gears from all my preconceived notions of her prior writings. So what do I think? It is sweet and lovely. [...]

    2. A digital copy of this book was provided to me in exchange for an honest review. This romance tale revolves around the lives of two people who have given up on love and emotions. Ever since his wife passed away, Cameron, a widower, has no place in his life for any woman except his 10 year old daughter. Little does he know that his resolutions, decisions and heart will all take a plunge when he meets the most opinionated, fiery and self-standing woman he has ever known, in the form of Lydia. Havi [...]

    3. I love a serious read but now and then I need something light and refreshing. Capturing You was that for me last weekend! I started to read it during breakfast and I finished it just after lunch! It’s a book with heart that doesn’t take itself too seriously and that’s one of the reason’s I enjoyed it so much! I also actually liked Maddie, Cam’s 10 year old daughter. Honestly I often find dialogue weak when it comes it kids in books like these, they always seem 5 years younger than thei [...]

    4. What I Thought:I fell in love with this book the moment I started reading. It was so real.I think it was the fact that the story really hit home. It showed that when you are at your lowest moment, sometimes wonderful things can happen, well sort-of. In the case of Lydia, she has just learned that she is infertile. She hadn't begun to think about children, a hubby or her happily ever after, as she was just focused on work and making her own. Then she gets landed in a small town, where she meets a [...]

    5. Capturing You is a well developed book with amazing characters that make you feel right at home. They also piss you off, make you want to scream, make you cry, and laugh, and much turn your world upside from cover to cover. They are easy to love and to hate. And all in all they want you want to join their big amazing family. Cam’s brothers and sisters are what we except of a small town family. Close knit and always have each other’s back. No matter the cost to themselves. Cam being the oldes [...]

    6. Disclaimer: I received a review copy of this book from NovelReviewers in exchange for an honest review. Simply put, I liked this book. It's not a dark and mysterious romance, full of complicated twists and turns. It's not a story wrought with tension, tearful confessions, and emotional angst. But don't mistake my observations for criticisms. Some plots and characters need all of that to meet their potential. This book does not. I liked this book because, quite simply, it's a good book. The chara [...]

    7. My Review: 4 stars. This is a very good story. When we are introduced to Lydia, she is just finding out about her inability to have children. Fast-forward a few months later, and she has become a photojournalist that is put on assignment in a small town in New Hampshire. She puts on a strong exterior, but she is vulnerable, endearingly clumsy, and attracted to a very handsome single father. Cam is an admirable, single father, trying to move on after his wife's death. When Cam and Lydia meet, the [...]

    8. *3 & 1/2 stars *I was anticipating a sweet small town love story, which this certainly is, but Capturing You also delivers a steamy element to the romance that I hadn’t expected. This novel’s strengths lie in the strong characterization. Collins has created rich characters with a depth that makes the reader care for them, even despite their faults at times. This applies to the supporting characters too. The reader is given a strong sense of family and the community which is so central to [...]

    9. I am an independent reviewer for Paranormal Romance and Authors That Rock. I received the book Capturing You by it's Author and (PRATR). Lydia is a journalist who was down on her luck the day she ran into the man of her dreams making her bitter. Things just didn't seem to go right and kept going from bad to worse. Until months later when she thinks to turn her luck around by making amends to the person she wronged and runs into her dream man. Things aren't always as they seem when dream man tur [...]

    10. 3.5 starsthis book was pretty good overall. the writing was good and the character development was good.i was on the fence about lydiai didn't understand why should would continue with a job that so thoroughly compromised her ethics and morals. in the end, she redeemed herself thankfully. she's pretty strong, probably because of her upbringing she had to be. she interacted well with maddie better than expected considering the rocky start to the book. cam is an overall good guyhard working single [...]

    11. This was my first Katana Collins book, and I must say I LOVED IT!!!! Cam and Maddie were getting along the best they could since the passing of Cam's wife Hannah two years ago. Into town comes Lydia who is coming to grips with life altering news of her own, she is unable to have children of her own. Lydia is in Maple Grove to cover a story on a charity auction in memory of Cam's late wife and Maddies mom. What happens next is how this great book weaves its way into your heart and makes a great s [...]

    12. I received a copy for my honest review and oh my goodness! This book!! This was the first book I've read from Katana Collins and it won't be my last. I couldn't put this book down. I loved everything about this book. From the small town to all the characters. There was one I was afraid I was going to hate but they turned out to be alright after all! Maddie is precious and her dad is swoon worthy. Lydia has had a rough seven months and her time in Maple Grove is just what she needs. The whole Tri [...]

    13. Lydia and Cam were a nice couple, and Cam's daughter Maddie was awesome. Lydia and Cam first met at a cafe in New York after Kydia had just found out she couldn't have children (whisks sucks by the way) although Cam didn't know, he left a lasting impression on Lydia. Interestingly they meet again seven months later when Lydia is doing a story on Maddie's charity auction for heart disease, but things go a little south when Cam realizes Lydia is a reporter (his family has history with reporters an [...]

    14. I love this story. What a sweet and heart wrenching story. I love the interaction of these characters and the emotions this story invokes. Cam has been through so much and never thought he would find someone like his late wife. Maybe the answer is you don't need someone like her. Maybe you need something else. Along comes Lydia, she appears to be something else but is it what they both need. It doesn't help that Lydia is hiding something and she is afraid when the Tripp family finds out that wil [...]

    15. I was really looking forward to reading this book after I read the novella Meeting You. It had a good start, but there were a few inconsistencies that I had trouble overlooking. I shelved it a few times, came back and still had trouble connecting with the story. I forced myself to finish it so I could move on. With that said, I really liked the characters. I feel somewhat invested in them now and will probably read the next book in the series to see what happens next. ***2.5 stars***

    16. This is well written romance. Hot scenes supporting on believable characters with real human interactions and issues.

    17. I enjoyed it, it was a sweet romance. I especially liked that it was a story about a single-father finding love again.
